Change categories

The release notes group changes by the type of schema affected:

Data Releases - Data Preview and Data Release schemas. Data Preview schemas have names starting with dp (e.g., dp2); Data Release schemas will have names starting with dr, though there are none yet.

Science Pipelines - Schemas which are managed through continuous integration with the Science Pipelines (imsim, hsc)

Solar System Production - Solar System Production schema (e.g., sso_base)

Alert Production and Prompt Products - Alert Production Database (APDB) and Prompt Products Database (PPDB) used in nightly data processing (apdb, ppdb)

ConsDB - Consolidated Database of Image Metadata schemas, having names that start with cdb (e.g., cdb_lsstcam), and Transformed EFD schemas, having names that start with efd (e.g., efd_lsstcam)

Miscellaneous - Catch-all category for changes which are not related to particular schemas, typically involving changes to GitHub workflows, project scripts, etc.
